Compliance Director

We are looking for an expert in Medicare regulations to further develop the health plan’s Compliance Program. The successful candidate will be a flexible self-starter who is able to work independently but also has the interpersonal skills needed to instill the values of compliance throughout the organization. The ability to respond creatively and negotiate options with key stakeholders is critical to the successful implementation of the Compliance Program. The Director will report to the President and will work closely with the Vice President of Health Plan Operations. 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

Baccalaureate degree in nursing, health care administration, business or a related field. Masters degree in health care administration, business or related field preferred. Minimum of five years experience in a Medicare Advantage Organization with increasing levels of management in operations and/or compliance. Prior start-up experience is a plus.

Director of Corporate Compliance
Location: Houston, TX

Our client is a benefit management company that provides a comprehensive set of cost-containment services to health insurers, third-party administrators, preferred provider networks, and self-insured employers.

The Director of Corporate Compliance is responsible for directing and coordinating the organization's efforts to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies that govern its Medicare, Medicaid and commercial lines of business.  You must have compliance experience in a health plan or insurance company.  A working knowledge and experience with NCQA and URAC is required.
